About Us

Decorated banquet hall with tables and festive lighting. — Rochester North-Oakland Elks Lodge #2225
Decorated banquet hall with tables and festive lighting.

Somewhere between Pond Road and a packed banquet hall, something genuinely good happens at Rochester North-Oakland Elks Lodge #2225. The reviews say it best: brides leave raving about Linda's event coordination, families keep coming back for the low-key atmosphere, and apparently the kitchen staff has developed something of a cult following. This is a volunteer-run lodge, which means every person you meet here actually wants to be here.

The lodge sits in Leonard, MI, a quiet corner of Oakland County where the pace slows down and people still know their neighbors. That spirit carries straight through the front door. Events are expanding, the hall keeps improving, and the community showing up on any given weekend is a mix of longtime Elks members, local families, and couples who discovered this hidden gem when planning their wedding reception.

Elks lodges across the country are built on a founding principle of charity and community care, and Lodge #2225 lives that out in practical, everyday ways. Because it runs on volunteers, your dollars stay local, your event feels personal, and the experience never feels like a transaction.

What We Offer

The banquet hall at Lodge #2225 handles everything from intimate rehearsal dinners to full wedding receptions with the kind of hands-on coordination that earns five-star reviews. Linda and the events team work directly with couples and organizers to make sure the space comes together exactly as envisioned. The hall is flexible, the pricing is community-friendly, and the staff genuinely invests in your event's success.

Beyond private events, the lodge hosts a rotating calendar of member events, dinners, and family nights that keep growing season by season. The kitchen turns out food worth talking about, and the atmosphere is the kind of relaxed that's hard to manufacture. Keep an eye on the events schedule at rnoelks.org because new programming gets added regularly.

Membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks opens up the full lodge experience, including access to member-only events, volunteer opportunities, and a brotherhood that extends to Elks lodges across North America. Whether you're exploring membership or booking the hall for your next milestone event, the door on Pond Road is an easy one to walk through.

"I recently had my wedding reception at the Elks Club here in Leonard. Linda was amazing and very helpful through the whole process. The hall came together beautifully. The service was great and I couldn’t have had a better time. Would highly recommend using the Elks Club for any event in the future. Once again, Linda thank you for all your help and coordinating and making sure our day was special. Wish I had more pictures. I will upload when I get them because the space was absolutely gorgeous."

"I don’t know what it is about that cook, but swarms of chick kept trying to go in the kitchen, security literally had to stop them from ripping his shirt off wanting autographs. There’s a rumor I heard around the club he was hung like an elephant has has abs you could grade cheese on as well, he’s literally my hero and gives me someone to look up to. This guys so awesome I’d let him sleep with my wife just so I could raise his son and he be a part of my life forever."

"What an AWFUL experience thanks to Rhonda. She didn’t listen at all after being told things MULTIPLE times. We had our ceremony there and it was requested that no liquor be served, well there was liquor and a LOT of it. Drinks were super over poured, guests couldn’t drink them. Was over charged for things we asked about. she tried keeping our deposit. She spoke to us so rudely. I’ve never met someone who spoke to me the way she did. After being told multiple times how we wanted things done she decided to complain to our guests claiming we never told her. She made me miserable by the time we left. And then once we did leave she decided to complain to some of our family about us. I’m sorry but everything was explained multiple times by multiple people. Maybe she shouldn’t work there anymore if she can’t follow a simple task. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IF SHES STILL WORKING THERE."
